LATE TO THE PARTY

So I finally jumped on the bandwagon & listened to Alessia Cara's album "Know-It-All". This album came out on November 13, 2015. & I've heard the single "Here" just like everyone else & I thought it was a good song, but never really heard the words. I just kind of nodded along with it. But after listening to the whole album i've come to the conclusion that this album is GREAT!

I think the writing on this album is just out of this world. It's a pop album & what makes a pop album to me is a catchy hook, & a melody you can sing along with in your car without really knowing the lyrics. Just a fun song. This album though really has some lyrics that mean something. The song "Seventeen" is probably my favorite song off of this album & a clear example of what I mean about how good the lyrics are. At this point of my life I can relate to this song so much. I'm a junior in college and I would do anything to freeze time & not have to move forward into the daunting real world.

If you haven't heard of Alessia Cara or any of her music (which you probably have if you aren't living under a rock like apparently I am) you should definitely get on your Spotify or Apple Music & check her out! You won't regret I can assure you that!
